To that end, Lakewood offers over 99 parks to choose from, and also greenbelts and nature pathways, many of which are backed by the magnificent Green Mountains in the background, making it the ideal choice for those who love getting outside.
Lakewood may be a flora and fauna powerhouse, but it is also no slouch when it comes to the arts, with an entire area dedicated to museums and art installations. So if you are seeking a bit of culture, this city will not disappoint.

How Do You Get From Denver Airport To Lakewood?

Whether you’re visiting Littleton for vacation or for business, you’ll need to figure out how to get from point A to point B. Unless you are visiting family, you will almost certainly have to pick between renting a car and using the local transportation.
Whether you’re moving to Lakewood for the world-class tourist attractions or traveling for business, here are some of the various ways to get from Denver International Airport to Lakewood.

TRANSPORTATION BY BUS

“There is no direct bus service for this route. however, you can take the train from Denver Airport Station to Union Station Track 1. From there you can take a bus to W Virginia Ave & S Wadsworth Blvd. This trip will take around 1 hour and 35 minutes”

More times than not, you will find yourself waiting for a bus. It’s also common to miss your bus. It looks quite funny when passengers going by bus become overwhelmed when they get a seat to sit, regardless of whether their destinations are close or far. Picture yourself struggling for a seat after a tiring flight. One of the pros of taking a bus is that it’s very affordable.

TRANSPORTATION BY TRAIN

“There is no direct train service between the Denver Airport (DEN) station to the Lakewood station. There are, however, trains that run from Denver Airport Station to Oak Station via Union Station Track 12. The total travel time, including transfers, is around 1 hour and 10 minutes.”

It is true that train transportation is more convenient and less expensive than buses or taxis. However, keep in mind that trains and stations might be very crowded. This might make your ride very uncomfortable. As no one wants to fight their way into a train. Or feel squeezed in by other passengers and their personal belongings. Furthermore, because the trains are overcrowded, bags and products are frequently lost. That can be a serious issue if you are visiting Lakewood for the first time.

TRANSPORTATION BY UBER

It is a fact that the convenience of booking, security, affordability, and comfort of the ride, makes Uber the desired transportation option for people. However, it is also true that it has its own set of drawbacks.  Such as surge pricing and trip cancellations, which cause disruptions to a passenger’s plan.
