“With far more than 31,000 acres of parkland – which involves more than 200 miles of walking and biking trails – Boulder understands how to seduce nature lovers.”
Hike through Eldorado Canyon State Park or Chautauqua Park to get your heart pounding, or brave the trail to (and be rewarded with views of) the Flatirons. Spend all your time window shopping around the Pearl Street Mall or perusing the exhibits at the Leanin’ Tree Museum of Western Art for a more leisurely experience. Whatever way you choose to enjoy Boulder, make time to relax with a cup of tea or celebrate with a pint of local brew.
Whether you’re visiting Littleton for vacation or for business, you’ll need to figure out how to get from point A to point B. Unless you are visiting family, you will almost certainly have to pick between renting a car and using the local transportation.
“There is no direct bus service from Denver Airport (DEN) to Littleton. There are, however, buses departing from Denver Airport Station Gate 9 and arriving at W Main St & S Rio Grande St via Arapahoe at Village Center Station Gate B via Arapahoe. The total travel time, including transfers, is around 1h 52m. ”
Buses have a limited amount of space, making them unsuitable for many errands. This is the problem if you are going on a shopping venture which could result in more luggage on the return trip to Denver Airport. You may not be allowed to bring these items onto buses if they do not fit under your seat or in your lap.
Buses are also sometimes crowded. That means you have to keep waiting for the next one, which is quite inconvenient. Especially if you are about to board a flight.
“There is no direct train service between the Denver Airport (DEN) station to the Littleton station. There are, however, trains that run from Denver Airport Station to Littleton / Downtown Station via Union Station Track 12 and I-25 & Broadway Station. The total travel time, including transfers, is around 1h 23m.”
Although train travel has many advantages, it has many serious drawbacks. Trains and stations can be extremely crowded. This may make a ride very unpleasant, as no one wants to fight their way into a train. Or feel pressed in by other passengers and their personal possessions. Even after coming from a tiring flight, you may have to stand for extended periods. Or you may have to sit on your suitcase if all the seats are filled. When trains are crowded, everything becomes a pain, including finding a seat, using the restroom, and dealing with your luggage.
Uber is also another way to travel to Littleton
