Things To Do In Aspen

“This small mountain town is accompanied by four monumental ski areas: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and the ever-popular Snowmass Ski Resort.”

When it comes to the best ski towns in Colorado, Aspen is generally at the number one spot. It’s not hard to understand why. The historic old mining town has grown into one of America’s most upscale, attractive, and visually gorgeous little towns, as well as one of the top locations to visit in Colorado. It also features some of the world’s most recognized ski slopes.

As you might expect, the finest things to do in Aspen are usually outside. This is true both in the winter and in the summer. Because Aspen is surrounded by four skiable mountains, all of which are shielded by the White River National Forest. In any season, you can take a gorgeous gondola from the center of downtown that will carry you up to the top of Ajax Mountain for the world’s greatest skiing and hiking.
